Honestly, thank you all for what this has become. While times and things can get tough, we managed to make it through - we, as in you and me. It is my own fault that this cannot continue any longer, however, I won't ever forget it. This comic, along with all the inspiration I have gotten from it, allowed me to keep on spriting and chugging along. It's thanks to you all that this was even possible in the first place. I have regrets about ending it, but there's nothing I can do at this point. There will be a time when the outside world will cave into your small, delicate inside world, and there will be times when you have to surrender what you need to lose in order to move on. I love you all. You all have been the best (and sometimes worst ;P) people I've seen. Thank you, all of you. You've made my day, and kept me up and going when times got tough. I hope that Myths of Terraria was something you all enjoyed as well, for the time that it was up and running. If you'd like, there's a link in my characters and FAQ that links to other (possibly dead or on hiatus) comics which are also about Terraria. While I may be dead, I suggest you all keep on exploring. Who knows what you'll find. Thank you, for being my followers and friends (or not, depending on what you think of me), but I still think this ending is still better than no ending. Thus, these might be the last words from Ai or ruiwen2002 on this site, but know that you all hold a special place in my heart. Thank you again, for joining me on this journey. It's been fun, I hope, for both you and me.

If you really want to talk to me, for any reason besides negging or spam, you can visit me on the Terraria Community Forums, where I currently reside as a spriter. You can find me in the Pixel Art section.

It's been great having you guys. Until then, I wish you all happiness and joy on your own great adventures. Farewell!

Well, you have bragging rights to say that this comic never ended up like LoM's 2017 comment section. At least partially. I respect you and how high school likes to slap a lot of people and stuff. Well, it had a good run, and I'm glad you survived the nuclear blast that eliminated all carbon-based lifeforms in the area by downloading your consciousness onto a computer chip. Sorry to butt in with a fanfiction, but let's just say that the robot thingy in the last comic kinda died in the nuclear blast. All of the characters stayed in that Underground Cabin which ended up being made of foot-thick reinforced lead and steel, but painted to look like wood by one person, one artist, one hero, who will live on in legend as ruiwen2002.

Sorry if this is really hard to understand. See you another time, I can be anywhere, I can do anything. Farewell.

I'm very amazed at what a little practice can do. Just look at the first comic, but make sure you have some nostalgia-preventing pills or you might be consumed. Then look at the last one.

-Xyvareth (ok now I'm actually done)

Nice ending! Honestly, if I could continue it, I would've turned that robot into an ally, who I even had a sprite sheet for, but your ending made me smile. (Here's the actual spritesheet and concept art)

And yep, you're right about this comic's quality compared to the first one being almost the same. I wanted to end it like how I started it - in google drawings with 2 fonts, rather than on GIMP with a few million. I wanted to give you guys one last glimpse of how it began before it ended. Ironic, right?

Thank you Xyvareth! You were one of the best commenters on here! You'll be missed.

Oh, I'll still be around. Probably lurking in Prophecy of Terraria when that gets back up.

Thanks for the sprite sheet! No, I'm not stealing your character, ha, but I'm in the process of making a comic of my own based on the events of the mod me and my friend are making, and I'm still figuring out I just need to remember how many poses and other things there are, because I'm a rather forgetful lad...

But, giant reality-controlling serpents and chaotic insane assassins here we come! You have no idea how much this comic has inspired me.

Cool, mind private messaging me when your comic (if it does) goes up? I can't make 'em but I still can read em.

Why don’t you do the same thing as hello the pixel and have a compitishon to get a new ather?
Notsignedin 13th Mar 2019, 3:03 PM edit delete reply
A competition sounds nice, but I have a gripe about that.

What that suggests is that a new author(s) will come and continue on the work, same as hello the pixel, but the probably was that I'm pretty sure Pixel's webcomic was soon abandoned after that.

It would be really sad if I got everyone's hopes up just to let them down again, so I think it's better to close it down myself than leave it to others to do my work.

Yeah, it didn't last long, sadly.

Still, thank you Ai for offering to continue my comic, even when you had another one to work on (thanks to DestinyMason and Deadly Death Sickle as well, you three are great!).

Farewell, Myths of Terraria!

Apologies for not having that turn out so well...

Other than that, thanks for sticking with us and creating comics with us side by side! It was sad to see you leave, but I guess all good things must end some day.

Thanks for stickin' with us!

Tis the end of an era.

This web comic has always been one of my favourites its going to be a shame to see it go,

As a fellow high school student I understand how tough it can be.

thanks for all the laughs.
I wish you luck in all your future endeavours.

Thank you for being here and giving your support.

It really means a lot to me (even now)!

I worked on a Terraria comic in 2017, but I cancelled it after 67 or so comics, I have a new idea that involves actual art and no sprites, so I’m looking forward to see how the NPC’s and bosses look drawn, and I have designed all the characters, five of them, each representing a class, I have no idea when I will finish my first strip because art takes a long time, but hopefully I learn how to shade and make backgrounds soon.

I'm looking forward to finding that one day (unless you want to PM it to me)...Good luck!

It's been a while. I guess the CVS pharmacy is in a different time zone or something but here i am. I went through some stuff with the family but it's ok now. I changed. By change i mean i am now a cybernetic space dolphin. It seems you've been busy too. Thanks for everything! You made an amazing comic! Give my regards to the weird and embarrassing things i said in the comment section! 🐬

If you don't know me, go waaaaaay back. Back to the part with the homosexual human snake hybrid.

Thank you all for the kind words!

I'll truly miss you all, and it's been quite a journey since this started out as a 4 panel-er...

To each of you, and even the future reader: I wish you luck in your future endeavors and journeys of discovery and creation!

While your ideas may not be completely original, it's the story you create and the characters you breathe life into that make YOUR story the way it's been.

Thank you all for the send-off (which I really didn't expect to be this big!). Until we all meet again sometime...Signing off for the last time...?
